Parking Parrot
Never forget to pay for parking.
You park, get out of the car, and your phone reminds you: “Don’t forget to pay for parking!”
No buttons to press, no timers to set — the app notices when your drive ends, and reminds you again when you drive away so you can stop a running session.
Built to not annoy you
- Exclusion zones — mark places where parking is always free (home, office, garage). The app stays quiet there.
- Paid and free days — a calendar for weekends, holidays and your city’s rules.
- Paid hours — at night the app sleeps and saves battery.
- Adjustable wait time — a red light or a traffic jam won’t trigger a false alert.
- 21 languages, and your choice of alarm sound.

Frequently asked
The app didn’t alert me.
Automatic detection relies on your phone’s sensors and is not perfect. In iOS Settings, make sure Location is set to Always and Motion & Fitness is enabled for Parking Parrot.
It alerts me where parking is free.
Add that place as an exclusion zone in Settings, or tap “Not here” on the alert. The app will stay quiet there from then on.
How much battery does it use?
The app does not monitor at night (outside your paid hours) or on days you marked as free.
Is there a subscription?
No. Everything is free for 30 days, then a single small one-time purchase unlocks the full version.
Privacy
Everything stays on your phone. No accounts, no servers, no tracking. Your parking history is yours alone and is deleted when you remove the app.
Important
Automatic detection depends on your phone’s sensors, which are not perfect. Parking Parrot is a helpful reminder, not a guarantee — checking whether you owe a parking fee is always your own responsibility.
